Ok i’ve run the first 10 quests for the item drop experiment to find out what gives in my town. I have only included items that I consider unusual or rare that the NPC’s give after a quest, I have not included the many items given that are common or the items from pick up points, just the rare items from NPC’s.
1st Quest: Big Red 3 run with 4 players:
Items given after quest:
Red Ore given by Jerome
2nd Quest: Big Red 3 run with 4 players:
Items given after quest: Rough Saphire given by Xander and one given by Ven Lien Wind-Dragon Flake given by Lucas
3rd Quest: Big Red 3 run with 3 players:
Items given after quest: Fire-Giant Eye given by Dianus and another Rough Saphire from Xander Aged Dragon Heart given by Palt
4th Quest: Big Red 3 run with 3 players:
Items given after quest: Rough Ruby given by Clark and Fire-Giant Heart Bit given by Hector
5th Quest: Big Red 3 run with 3 players:
Items given after quest: Knave Panel given by Colin
6th Quest: Home of the Knave 2 Solo:
Items given after quest: Knave Panel given by Charlelone Wind Dragon Flake given by Lucas and Troll Armor Suit given by Lau Varie
There was a break then and when I came back online I could run round the town and pick up items again and got 1 Knave panel from Colin
7th Quest: Home of the Knave 1 Solo:
Items given after quest: Ice-Dragon Beard given by Beketov and Dew Drop given by Colin
8th Quest: Big Red 2 Solo:
Items given after quest: Ice-Dragon Scale+ given by Taltenos
9th Quest: Big Red 2 Solo:
Items given after quest: Ice-Dragon Scale+ given by Taltenos again
10th Quest: Big Red 2 Solo:
Items given after quest: Red Ore given by Jerome Troll Armor Suit given by Ven Lien and Troll King Mace given by Vincent.
As you can see and as Death pointed out to me the items are definitely not quest related. First 10 quests didn’t give much in the way of + stuff and I think when I was getting lots of + items I was running quests like KOD 3 SA 2 GH 2 and DD 2 so another theory could be the harder the quest you run the better the items given. First ten quests were easy ones so the next 10 I run will be moderate then the 10 after that will be GR12 lvl 50 quests just to see if the items improve by the difficulty of the quest run.

Aug 15
Yup i was reading a geeky japanese site they had same thoery from what i could translate that it is GR lvl related.
nice work tony !!
I’m going to struggle finding people to quest the GR12 lvl 50 quests as most are running from other towns already, may have to wait till fri/sat when more people are on, really want to know what gives the + items as I remember running a bunch of quests one night and getting tons of +items, must have been those higher level quests, i’ll find out soon enough.
Tony π
yah and tony try to use the pc keybord on the ps3 it’s esayer to type in game with it see ya soon m8
Are you kidding? For real? You can use a regular pc keyboard? That would really suck as I got a spare and I really really really hate typing with the controller, takes forever. That’s why I don’t talk much, i’m not ignoring anyone, just takes too long, or i’ll be typing something and a quest will start and take it all out, plus my D-pad is getting messed up now because of it. Well thanks mate for letting me know this, I will try this later, just got to dig out my spare keyboard, now where did I put that again? This could take a while, lol.
Good troll hunting today.
Tony π
lol i gussed so
you can use any and i mean any keybord that has USP cable try it, i only use it in games have fun lol
i’ve been doing some offline work now i know why me damage is low i wanted to share it with every one,
One-handed: STR/AGI/DEX
Short sword has several moves for all three categories and use all the three weapon stats fairly equally but I set STR/AGI as the main ones. Look for what kind of damage the move does and you get the stats to boost it pretty accurately with the normal AGI for slash, STR for strike, DEX for thrust and INT for elemental.
Longsword: AGI/STR/DEX
Most useful moves are slashing and AGI is the main stat here. STR and to a lesser degree DEX is also useful. AGI also enhances your chances of evading enemy attacks and thatβs very useful since the Longswords lowers your VIT.
Axe: STR/DEX (AGI)
Most moves are strike and itβs STR all the way for most moves. Some moves use DEX and a few AGI but I would not bother with AGI.
Spear: DEX/VIT/AGI
DEX appears to influence damage on all spear moves, AGI and VIT influence some.
The widely held belief of 30%STR+ 40%VIT +30% Slash/Strike/Impact modifier is false. STR appears to have no impact on Spear damage what-so-ever regardless of move.
Bow: DEX/INT (STR)
Different moves have different modifiers with only some logic behind it.
Extensive testing have given the following result:
The damage modifiers does not follow the normal settings at all but move stated as strike, slash or thrust do increased damage on corresponding weak spot as normal.
Staff: SPR/INT
The elemental moves are 50% SPR +50% INT regardless if theyβre strike, slash or thrust.
Main damage increasing stats are thus SPR and INT.
The seeker elemental boost will increase damage on corresponding elemental move.
A correctly built and played staff can do massive damage
when i look at this list i think what’s going to make me good in fight’s is the axe class that is my build for but i use short sword’s funny lol
And i found some good thing’s on monster’s item+ drop’s here it gose:
Dragons:
Legs: No weakness

longest post’s i ever posted im my life LOL
hope it helps
ps: this is NOT my work i coped it from all over the net and gatherd it here
This is cool Death, thanks for putting this all together. I like the weakness and strength post on the monsters, didn’t know half of that stuff, I was slightly aware that troll kings were weak against earth based attacks but never bothered to confirm it as i’ve only just started enhancing a sword with earth. I will try that next time, wonder how much more I would take off a troll king if my sword had been enhanced with Earth.
The first post is going to be handy for a lot of players, the only two I know about are the spear and longsword, although there are a couple of attacks on the spear that would benefit from STR you would need mostly STR which would take away from the better attacks, definitely right about AGI/VIT/DEX I was working this one out with my son the other day, although my DEF was 600 my STR was extremely low, yet I still took off over 1,000 from fire beast, the added VIT/DEX affect the damage somehow but with such a huge DEF you hardly get hit. I really like the spear but have yet to equal the damage I do with the longsword so i’m still afraid to go into a GR12 quest with other GR 15 players with my spear. I don’t really get enough time to mess around with the spear although I would like to spend just a couple of days using the spear with different armor sets to see how effective or ineffective it all is.
Thanks again for this info, you done well and I know others will appreciate it.
Tony π
Just wanted to say I managed to run another 5 quests today for the experiment and got an item i’ve never had before, Noela resident gave it to me, Mist Crystal+ it will be in my next list just wanted to mention it here first, that is a rare drop and i’ve never heard anyone else getting one from a town.
The fact i’ve never had one before means there could still be a lot of new items to come across so i’m not changing this town for a while.
Tony π
like i told you befor i’m always ready to help in any work i learn too from this work im doing tomorrow im going to re-incarnate and try what i just learned and ofcours ill be around to help any time
Well it’s much appreciated. I wasn’t able to run a single quest last night from my town, just couldn’t get anyone to join, well apart from big red.
There are so few people playing this game now, used to be packed, even went to saberlily and less than half the rooms had players in them, for saberlily that is a quiet night.
Think i’ll either have to run the whole 100 quest experiment thing on big red or wait until i’ve got all my gear and try and solo all the GR 12 quests.
Not going to be around for long again today, probably an hour or two at most but if I catch you and we run a quest and complete it i’ll include that quest as part of the experiment as it will be a middle quest which is what we need.
Wanted to try 10 easy quests (GR 1-5) 10 middle quests (GR 5-8) and 10 hard quests (GR 8-12) to see how much different the items given are.
I did notice someone has already done this type of list on their log but listed no + items so I still haven’t found anyone who has had many of the items my residents have been giving, which is cool.
Tony π
no one is in saberlily’s town!! that’s odd it’s allway’s full ! ! ! ! !
i have a fast question tony ,
dose haste boost action speed only or it boost AGI
and dose AGI boost the action ring speed?
It’s just a guess but I think it would only boost action speed, could be wrong though, i’ll see if I can find something on that for you.
Tony π
you may have better luck then me , i already tried looking in the net but nothing.
thx m8
PS:im at town if im sitting that means i’ll be back soon, by the way did you find the lost keybord? LOL
Can’t find anything on the topic anywhere, sorry. I would say it only boosts action speed though, I remember early in the game I cast haste to see if I would run faster, lol. Yes back then I was running away from the damn Kibbles.
I found my spare keyboard but it’s not USB, it’s one of those stupid round connectors so am going to see if I can get hold of a USB adaptor this afternoon. May not get on in time to quest with you today, sorry. Hopefully I will.
Tony π
No prob’s if not today tomorrow it is .
hate when i look for somthing and after a big hard work i finaly find it !! and then guss what it’s not working any more or wrong type.
i’m lv.50 again i’ll send you’r MSG to the damn kibbles when i re-incarnate.
PS: i hate them more than you do trust me in this
Tony please write a topic about armors&weapons that boost DEX,AGI and VIT at +10 for me THX
ofcors when you have the time
Wow do you know what? I can’t find any stats on armor before GR 10 anywhere on the net, loads of people posting armor stats from GR 10 to GR 12 though. I know your GR 8 Death so all I can do for you is check all my GR 8 stuff and upgrade what I can so you can get the stats. Will post it all here but it probably won’t be until tomorrow because even if I get on today it won’t be until late.
Whatever happens I will provide you with the info you need for your level, just might take me a little time.
Tony π
Ok found out why no one has posted the stats on GR 8 armor, because it’s hardly worth the cost to upgrade stuff. From what I know there are only four armor sets for GR 8 Magical Set, Earth Set, Doom Set and Blue Set.
Even I don’t have all these but what I have got the most anything can be upgraded to is like +2 AGI and that is enhancing it to +10
Anyway this is what I have:
Magical Robe at +8: Stats are DEF 41 RES 17 MP+4 INT+1 so when this lot gets to +10 the stats will be MP+8 INT+2 as those double at +10
Magical Bracers are at +5 and the stats are:
DEF 33 RES 14 MP+4 INT+2 again at +10 the MP and INT will double
Magical Slops are at +6 and the stats are:
DEF 34 RES 15 HP+2 MP+4 SPR+1
Magical Shoes are at +10 (max)and the stats are:
DEF 38 RES 19 MP+9 SPR+2 at least the RES seems quite good at that level.
——————————
The Earth Set is probably more for you at GR 8 but I don’t know all the stats, only what I have:
Earth Mail is at +6 and the stats are:
DEF 43 Earth attribute added of +5 HP+2 MP+1 VIT+1
At +10 the HP MP and VIT will double but it’s not much.
Earth Fists are at +5 and those stats are:
DEF 37 Earth attribute of +3 HP+2 and STR+1 again HP and STR double at +10
Earth Trousers are maxed at +10, stats are:
DEF 38 Earth attribute of +2 HP+2 DEX+1
Earth Footwear stats are: DEF 42 Earth attribute of +3 HP+4 AGI+2
This seems to me to be the best armor at GR 8 but I don’t know all the other stats of the other two sets, i’ll carry on with what I do have though.
———————————
I don’t have the Doom armor but I have the Doom Gauntlets, they are at +7 and the stats are:
DEF 38 HP+3 VIT+1
Doom Breeches are only at +2 i’m afraid so it’s not showing any extra stats, they don’t until you hit about +5 at the moment they are just showing DEF 33, I would guess if the gauntlets are VIT the breeches may be VIT or DEX but I really couldn’t say.
Doom Boots are at +7 and the stats are:
DEF 36 Earth attribute added of +2 HP+3 VIT+1
———————————
The only part of the Blue Set I have is the Blue Gauntlets which are at +10 and the stats are:
DEF 48 added water +3 HP+9 STR+2 DEX+3
I would guess the reason I don’t have this armor set is because it’s probably the hardest to get, seeing as the DEX is more than the other this may just be the best GR 8 set, can’t find the stats anywhere on this set so apart from the gauntlets there is no way of knowing.
————————————
Accessories worth looking at are Purple Cloak: stats are: DEF 6 HP+5 VIT+3 SPR+3
Fire-dragon Cape RES 5 fire attribute of +3 MP+12 VIT+3 SPR+3
Aristos Cape: RES 6 MP+14 INT+3 AGI+3
Warlock Cape: RES 6 MP+13 INT+4 AGI+3
By far the best accessory is the Bloody Chlamys but you have to be at level 50 to wear it;
Stats: RES 10 MP+15 VIT+4 AGI+4
Ok sorry you probably wont be able to get the last few as you need items from GR 12 quests but i’ll leave them in now they are there. The best two you can get at GR 8 is the Purple Cloak as it requires 1 oil stained cloth and 10 Gromwell
Flowers or the Fire Dragon Cape which requires 15 Fire Dragon Scales and 10 Rainbow Butterflies
The Aristos Cape needs 2 Toxic Greaver Pelts and 10 Cloud cotton balls and I don’t know if you can get those items yet. Ok i’ll check out GR 9 armor sets now, may take a while.
Tony π
Wow,just had to scroll down half a mile, might have to add a forum. Anyway there are four sets of Armor for GR 9 which you should be looking at getting as it’s not going to be too long before you hit GR 9:
Aeros Set isn’t worth worrying about as that’s really for mages. Spectral Set I know nothing about and I only own one piece but the last two could be pretty good and will take you all the way to GR 10 no problem.
It’s either going to be Heavy Set or Animus Set, i’m pretty sure I was wearing a mix of these two when I was GR 9, anyway here are the stats i’ve got on these two:
————————————
Heavy Armor (armor)DEF 61 Earth attribute of +2 HP+10 VIT+1 this is only at +9 so at +10 HP and VIT will double.
Heavy Gauntlets, mine are at +10 and the stats are: DEF 54 Earth attribute of +3 HP+14 VIT+4 AGI+1
Heavy Cuisses are at +9 and the stats are:
DEF 53 Earth attribute of +2 HP+7 VIT+1
Heavy Sabatons (foot gear) Mine are at +6 and the stats are:
DEF 48 Earth attribute +5 HP+7 STR+1 VIT+1
————————————-
I don’t have the armor piece for Animus, I did but I must have sold it.
Animus Gauntlets are at +8 and the stats are:
DEF 53 Wind attribute of +3 HP+7 STR+2
Animus Breeches are at +10 and the stats are:
DEF 55 Water attribute of +3 HP+14 AGI+4
Crap I don’t have the Animus footwear either, sorry, but the breeches have the highest AGI i’ve seen at this level so the set may be worth getting.
That’s all I can come up with right now, hope this helps some, if I come across any more armor stats other than my own i’ll post it here for you.
Tony π
