Yeah, I finally got it, took me just over a week, was a great game, and even though I’ve got the platinum trophy I will definitely play this more. I think I will make some videos of this one as there are lots of challenges, contracts, hidden stuff etc… I was really impressed with one of my scores on China Town, US average was around 53,000 and the world average was a little higher at around 57,000 and I managed a score of 152,000, so cool.

I did eventually have to check online for the last couple of pieces of evidence that I had missed but this was a lot of fun, one of the best games I’ve played since Skyrim, the music was exactly right, Hitmans voice was perfect, the accidents you could use to kill enemies was also a lot of fun, a really good game with a great story and many extra hours of playability.

Will go back to Bioshock Infinite and Resident Evil 6 over the weekend, then looking forward to playing The Last of Us, from a gaming point of view I’ve had a great week, hope you all are enjoying your gaming too.

Got caught up playing Hitman Absolution and I’m about 4 trophies shy of platinum, I’m actually playing the professional mode for that trophy then I just have to go through one more time to get the 100 challenges. This is my second playthrough and it’s still great fun, there are so many different ways to kill enemies. I really like the sniper rifle and enjoyed getting the 47 pro headshots.

If you get this game make sure you check out the challenges for each level as these give score multipliers and upgrades on your skills etc.. The online play is very fun, you create a contract (another trophy) and others can play your contracts and like them (another trophy), you can also compete in competitions using your contracts or your friend’s contracts. You can also check your scores against other players or friends to see how well or how badly you did.

The good thing about creating contracts and playing them online is that none are impossible as you have to play the contract yourself while you’re creating it, the harder you make it the more contract points/dollars you get, a fairly easy way to hit the $1,000,000 (another trophy). A great game with a great storyline and very fun to play. You can complete story in a day or so, but if you really get into it you could spend days going through each level stealthily. If you don’t buy this one at least rent it, you will enjoy it tremendously.

Yes, we can finally view exactly what the PS 4 looks like now that it is readily available for ordering, and if you get it now you can have it in time for Christmas, how cool is that. Keep on reading for pics and specs. Firstly, let’s have a look at what we’ve all been waiting for:

Even though Sony has done away with the curves, this latest machine looks very cool. It looks chunky, rugged, yet still elegant. It really looks like there is something big under the hood if you know what I mean.
Many have said they weren’t surprised at the price, but I think they all said that afterward. I was extremely surprised seeing as that was the price of the PS 3 when it first hit the shelves. I thought for sure this one was going to be much higher if not more, Therefore,  I am impressed with that.
So what exactly is the PS4 offering us that we don’t already have? Let see what we now know:

I will post more news on the PS 4 as I get it. I also believe that most games will be made at 60 frames per second to give an even better gameplay. As you know I’m not an Xbox One fan, I’m strictly Sony!! However, there are those out there who are so, I wanted to ensure that all my readers get their favorite gaming system that best suits them, so I am covering that system here today

From what I’ve seen it has a few new features, probably the most important one it seems is it can run multiple apps at the same time, this means that you can chat to someone on Skype while watching TV, seems a bit rude to me. At the end of the day, I buy a gaming console, for one thing, to play games, believe it or not, if I want to watch TV I have a television set, still, what do I know.

Anyway, one of the new games announced was the new Call of Duty: Ghost, which also happens to be coming out on the PS3 as well, that surprised me, though Microsoft would have had it exclusively for their new baby. Well, that’s all your getting from me about the other guys, happy gaming.

I’ve been having a hard time finding a decent game to play lately, tried a few out but nothing’s grabbed me in a while. I decided to give Cloudy with meatballs a try as it was supposed to be a really easy platinum, but I got so bored of this I quit it and sent it back.

I’ve recently started playing the Tomb Raider Trilogy and have started Tomb Raider Legend, have played through the story once and now I’m going to have to go through again to get the rest of the trophies. I’ve also started playing Sniper: ghost warrior and I’m disappointed that I won’t be able to platinum this one due to the fact that the kills online in the multiplayer only register if you play ranked matches, trouble is no one is playing ranked matches, I really don’t know why.

If anyone happens to still be playing this one, let me know if you want to play some ranked matches in Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, V.I.P, and Capture The Flag. Will post some more as I get to play more games, but I plan to be on here more now than  I was before, happy gaming 🙂

Yep, I started White Knight Chronicles, this time it is going to be a total solo run for me, it’s actually quite a different feeling playing it alone, I would say it’s more relaxing, especially when running quests. Before I always had a feeling of having to do things a specific way because you were either relying on others or others were relying on you. This time I can take my time, do things exactly the way I want to do them and it’s like playing a totally different game.

I surprised myself when running my first couple of quests, I really missed playing this game. For those who have never played it, it is a very fun game, it’s probably more fun playing online with others, but I’ve done that before, played it for around two years and I never got bored with it. I actually stopped playing it before because most of my friends I was playing with moved on to the second one, which came out 6 months later over here.

Anyway, I’ve managed to reach guild rank 3, which isn’t bad seeing as I’ve only played for about 10 hours in total so far. I’ve got three S rank quests and am level 23, and I’m totally having fun, it does feel more relaxing this time around.  I’m going to experiment a lot more this time, trying out the other weapons I didn’t use before, like the Axe, Shortsword, and Mage. Eventually, my last build will be Spear and Bow user which is what I ended up as before, it’s probably the best combination, especially when trying to solo.

Most of the quests have already unlocked and that’s probably due to the fact that the servers are going offline in a couple of weeks so I won’t have to buy too many. My biggest worry is going to be the 50 S rank quests and binding 450 items. I think the binding trophy shouldn’t be a problem and I believe there are enough quests for me to solo 50 S ranks but it may be tough.  The time limit ones will be the most difficult, especially the ones where you have to run all over the place before 3 of us would split up and make the time limit for the S rank.

Anyway, that is all for today’s post, so I’ll update here as I go along, I have heard people say it’s possible to solo platinum this game but never actually met anyone who has done that, I will try and prove it and update each guild rank as I go along.

Finished story mode once, had to start a new game due to missing two trophies, got 80% of them at the moment. Wanted to mention that if anyone is going for all trophies in this game, be sure to perform each skill a few times that the tattoos offer, each tattoo is a skill you get from experience, trouble is you can only unlock some skills by actually using previously learned skills, this was one of the trophies I missed. This is in part due to the fact there are hardly any enemies if you finish story mode and continue.

Another trophy I haven’t managed to get yet is to kill an enemy from a zip line, parachute or hang glider, just haven’t been able to find any enemies near a zip line as yet, hoping to get it soon though. The co-op trophies are a bit harder as I’m not prepared to pay for an online pass just for six trophies so have to play it when one of my sons is free from their games, which will probably be never, lol.

Looking forward to playing Tomb Raider next with Bioshock Infinite after that. If you like action/adventure/shooter type games you definitely should try out Far Cry 3, it’s a great game, but be prepared for some bad language, there is quite a bit of it.

Well third day playing, right at the end of story mode now, also managed to get myself 5 S ranks and got myself to Guild Rank 5 which isn’t bad, I’m level 35 now and still enjoying it.  I’m actually upgrading my weapons and armor as I go along which I didn’t do last time I played this. This time around, it’s fairly essential to upgrade some gear to keep up with the quests solo.  I even managed to S rank big red while I was at guild rank 3 and that’s a guild rank 3 quest, that’s pretty good.

If I can keep this up, then I should be able to get the 50 S ranks eventually. I think to S rank guild rank 10 quests I’ll have to be at least guild rank 12 but I think I can do it, it will be a slow process but I love games that take a long time, it’s definitely a challenge. Should get my $100,000 trophy tomorrow, but that will be it for a while as the rest of the trophies will be very time consuming, looking forward to the rest of the week’s play.

Yeah, sorry for the delay in posting, got a bit carried away the last week. I did eventually get Resident Evil 6 platinum, then went straight on to playing a game called Sleeping Dogs. The reason I got this game was because it was free for Playstation Plus members, which I decided to get for 3 months, that cost me $17.99 and it’s already paid for itself as Sleeping Dogs was free at that time, but for others, it’s $50 so a big saving there, and I’m glad I did get it, it’s a pretty cool game.

Sleeping Dogs is a cross between Godfather II and Grand Theft Auto and a few others, there is a good storyline with a good ending (which makes a change) lots to do by way of side quests and missions, yet you can complete the game in a relatively short time, I’m two trophies away from platinum and have enjoyed playing it for about a week, maybe a bit less, but it’s got some replay value too, you could quite easily want to play it a second time, although you can get platinum in one playthrough.

Another aspect of this game I like (a lot) is the fighting, I don’t usually like fighting games, but the action buttons are not too complicated and it’s fairly realistic, you are an undercover cop who has to infiltrate the Triads, which you do quite successfully, and have a lot of fun with it. It can be a little glitchy in places and the graphics are not really fantastic, but the gameplay is very good. I would say if you liked games like Just Cause, Godfather or Grand Theft Auto you’ll probably quite like this one.

I don’t recommend buying this one as it is fairly short but definitely worth renting or borrowing, or if you are like me, you tried being a Playstation plus member it’s a free download, beware though, it is around 8 Gigs and can take a couple of hours to download. Happy Gaming!

Hi all,

Well, I’ve been playing for about a week now and have managed to get myself to guild rank 7 , I’m also at level 43 so not doing too bad.  I did go online for a little while today and I see that there is still quite a few playing this game.  There are also a lot of older players who have been playing since it first came out, yet I still don’t really understand why they are closing the servers, a little unfair to those who really enjoy playing this one online.

Also managed to get another trophy today, which was a surprise, I’m also binding quite a lot of items, weapons and armor as I go along as I know one of the hardest trophies is going to be the 450 item bind trophy. I think I will probably play for a few days online while the servers are still up and get some help with a few quests while the help is there. Want to thank Cloud who ran King of Dragons with me and also Dragons Heat, would have never S ranked those on my own at this level.

That’s about it for now, got The Last of US on my list at Gamefly and I won’t add any more games until that comes out and hopefully, I will get that the day of its release or one or two days later.
