I think we are almost acceptance of the fact that occasionally we are going to get either ‘lag’ or booted out. When I say occasionally I mean, now and again, maybe once or twice during the course of a month, or even a week.
You don’t expect to see people get booted 3 quests in a row, I don’t expect to get booted 3 quests in a row. I expect lag sometimes but not 1 out of every 3 quests.
This is not a connection problem because it happens to many others, and my PC’s are just fine, my PS3 doesn’t boot me offline, just WKC servers.
I think the freakiest one was yesterday, we was running big red 3, we had 3 of us building AC and one running to start boss fight, we had our build up to around 6AC when it just froze, not completely froze, more of lag where you can’t perform any action but can still talk, at this point one person quit the quest, usually the game will continue, I have no idea why when someone quits the quest in this situation that the game continues as normal, it’s like it can’t handle a fourth person being there.
Anyway this time when one person quit the quest instead of continuing the game finished, came up ‘Completed Quest’ even though we hadn’t started the boss battle, hadn’t even got near big red or seen him but the quest ended, completed and gave us a B rank. I have never had this happen in the 6 months i’ve been playing this, very strange.
The point of writing this is to see if anyone else is starting to see ‘lag’ people getting booted or any other strange things happening more frequently now. It’s like since the release of WKC 2 in Japan there have been no more online quests released which was disappointing in itself but to see more and more of this being booted and lag and glitches appearing tells me that Level 5 or whoever isn’t bothering too much in keeping the servers up to date.
Some of us are still playing and enjoying the game, I see new players even now just starting and if your not going to keep a check on your servers to ensure they are running properly what makes you think anyone will buy WKC 2??? Certainly not these new players coming in now, if they can’t complete the game due to server problems your going to start to get a bad reputation and miss out on a lot of potential customers for WKC 2 when it does come out internationally.

Thats the way it goes dude all dedication is to WKC2 now depending on how well it does in the west will determine the server status. Biggest mistake with wkc international came out same time as Final fantasy 13 lets hope they dont make same mistake with Final fantasy 14 online that way they will make enough money to support the servers.
Well if the server issues continue to get worse new players will find it increasingly difficult to get platinum trophy. Then there is all the armor and weapons, but then this could be a tactic so that people will have to play through the WKC 1 that comes with WKC 2, who knows, it’s a shame though. There has been a couple of days it’s been so bad i’ve just given up, other times I just end up running solo quests, it’s just not so much fun.

It’s wierd because WKC was never a game on my ‘to get’ list, I was actually waiting for a game called Heavy Rain and a couple of write ups on this one came up so I put it on the list, WKC came before Heavy Rain and I stuck with it, never did get Heavy Rain but I played the demo and I really want to get the game, funny how things turn out.
By the way i’m at 5 mill now, half way to the 10 mill trophy, what a grind.

Well Tony im invading your town tonight with some friends:=) was in there earlier with my GR14 friends they are boosting me for GR11:P they want me high they said im too slow lmao but im almost there now 1-2 days of quests, then we are going to do BR3 and quests to upgrade my gr10 wepaons and get the sacred boots. All weapons are upgrade too +9 and i made a second black fang so roll on GR12 then i get 5 uber weapons if i ever get the mats lmao;)

I think I made 3 GR 9 friends last night, got on for a bit but couldn’t find any friends on so popped into saberlily and went in a room with 3 GR9 players and offered my services as an assassin,lol. They accepted and apparently had a good time getting some quests done with the help of yours truly. You may see them in my town as I mentioned the items from NPC’s were better than saberlily, they seem ok but are wary of GR 12 and higher players as they seem to have come across a few lets just say ‘less helpful players’.

I managed to get into my town for a couple of hours last night, there were 5 of us at one time, cool. Maybe one of you know that answer to this, I keep getting people coming up to me, checking me out then leaving, do you think they are intimidated by GR 15 or because it’s the general bad reputation that GR 15’s are getting now. I keep hearing about how nasty some higher GR’s are and i’m not sure why, since playing this i’ve only come across probably two that I didn’t like, that says a lot cos you have to do a lot to piss me off. But overall everyone seems pretty cool.

hehe yes ppl are cool but like you said there are some up the ass idoits^^ well managed to get down to 550k now so just need that then its hello GR11 tony i spoke to a friend he told me just to get sacred boots-metal harbuak at gr11 along with all swords i need. wat you think? cuz i dont want to grind alot of gear at gr11 as i want to power it for gr12 trophy but wat you think?
Give me a couple of hours and i’ll check some stuff out for you, like you said your going to plan on grinding for GR 12 where all the good stuff is so you only need one set of armor to get you through GR 11 which will actually be quite a while.
Take it easy on weapons too, get one decent one, two at most because when you hit GR 12 you will want a lot so you want to start saving mats and money from now, as much as you can.I’m at GR 15 as you know and I still don’t have all my weapons that I need.
I’ll get back to you as soon as I get the chance to sort something out for you to get through GR 11.

well money aint the prob i got soon 1 million guilda and my gear and weps are almost maxed out at gr10 got 5 weps at +9 so i really only need black ore, red ore and troll king crows atm its just i dont know wat i should make at gr11 gear wise. dont want to hinder any groups buut same time dont want to n00b out:=)

Ok i’m not really sure if this is going to be of help but i’m kind of researching and thinking out loud at the same time, there is so much you can do and most of it depends on if you are going to rebirth again or your done with that for now, can’t remember if your a longsword user or not as that could make a difference, your probably not a tank and your probably just going to be a damage dealer at least until you get to GR 12. Let me know if i’m wrong on any of these points.
There is a few sets of armor at GR 11 but personally I wouldn’t worry too much about going for anything specific if your just going to go straight for GR 12, what you have on your side at GR 11 is the fact you will be able to grind Big Red 3 or rather Best Served Cold 3, this gives tons more experience, guilder and guild rank points. Most people at GR 11 will run this up to GR 12, most without even bothering with other quests.
One armor I would say definitely get is Wyvern Plate, this is a personal opinion but at +10 it gives you an extra 128HP and 78DEF it also has a VIT+35 which is always a big help in avoiding getting hit so much, especially by mobs. If your going to run lots of other quests too then maybe the Sacred and/or Metal would be better. A lot depends on what you actually want to do, if your just going to grind big red then you want more STR on your side for quick completion of the quest, probably a big combo setup.
I still run big red now for the money and basically I play it like a noob, i’m not interested in lots of different attacks to make the battle last very long, I want to get in kill big red, get the rewards, over. So what I do is hack with the rest until he’s down on his knees then unleash a 15AC combo for around 8 or 9K damage, I quite often finish him off as most unleash their combo’s straight away.
I recommend the Wyvern plate because your not going to get any upper armor part with added STR until GR 12 so you may as well wear something on top that gives you extra AGI MP or HP your STR can come from arm/leg/foot gear
Having got the Wyvern for armor Metal Hands are only going to give you VIT/DEX so if that’s what you want Metal is the one. If you want INT/SPR usually for magic then Valiant Gauntlets.If you want STR/SPR then it will be Warlock Gloves, this gives MP64 STR16 SPR24 at +10 also DEF 47 RES 26
Leg gear again depends on what you want Warlock Leggings will get you HP112 MP40 VIT34 at +10 whereas the Valiant Cuisses at +10 will give you DEF 68 MP10 STR 35 DEX 24 this was my fave at GR 11
Foot Gear again depends on what your after. You could go for Fire-dragon Boots which give DEF 48 RES 17 with +10 fire attribute added HP 80 MP 32 and SPR 35 if you manage to enhance it to +10
Warlock Boots will get you HP 72 AGI 34 DEX 24 at +10 while your Metal Footwear will only give you a little MP and INT
Some people even grind big red with GR 10 gear as what you have to bear in mind is a lot of GR 11 stuff will be too hard to get the mats to enhance it all to +10 I think I have only one piece of GR 11 armor that is at +10. It’s like, by the time you enhance your gear to +10 your at GR 12 and have to start farming all over again.
If i’m using my spear setup and running quests solo (or if I was to tank) I would wear either the Vyvern plate or Valiant armor as they both have high 70’s DEF with 128HP and 35 VIT both of these are GR 11 and yes I use them still at GR 15 that’s how good they are in stats depending on the situation.
Hopefully with some of this you can make an educated guess at what you think you should do. Here is another place you can check for more specific stats as I don’t really know much about the Sacred stuff, I don’t have any for some reason.

Ok just saw your last posts, I can’t stress this enough, I made this mistake, big mistake. 1 million is not nearly enough for when you hit GR 12 upwards.I realize why there is a 10 mill trophy and it’s because your going to need that much and then some. I am struggling not to spend my money right now as I want that trophy but I could easily spend the 5 mill that I have right now just on my town and with you eventually wanted to upgrade your town to level 10 it does get really expensive.
Also during GR 12,13,14,15 your going to get situations where you really need an item but can’t get it and at some point your going to realize it’s going to be easier to buy the damn thing than to farm for it. If you have the patience to farm for extra rare items that’s great but then there is the coins, oh the coins, the coins, those fucking coins.
Let me explain, the best armor sets in the game require coins, those coins are 150,000 guilder for just one, most armor, yes just the top part require 6 coins plus mats, that’s 900,000 just for 6 coins for one piece of top armor.
Just wanted you to be clear on what I nightmare it’s going to be moneywise, however much you think you have it’s not enough, so be wise when it comes to spending as ultimately your going to need those coins, and you can only get them from your own town meaning sooner or later your going to have to get your town stats to 50/50/50 just for the coins to show up in your shop.
Don’t get me wrong i’m not trying to put you off as it’s great when you get this stuff, just want you to know how important those guilders really are.

Hey Tony yes at approximatley 11:15pm gmt+1 i hit GR11!!!!!! finally i got boosted by some gr15 friends 30 runs of ms3 lmao was killer but i manage to get the sacred solorettes and upgraded +5 those have hp/agil/strength, i almost have all the mats now for metal habauk. Got boosted for everything i needed. have x2 scarlet sky, and garison blade now, and soon million guilda again lol god bless br3:P tonight will try to work on troll king crowns for sacred thresher and last mats for metal habuak then im happy so will be on little while hopefully.. NOT in sabrelilly that place really annoyed me last night lol but my friends would leave from there.

Stop please, I want this game now, this sounds awesome, way much improvement on the first one. I like the ‘bounty’ idea, it reminds me of FF12 where you went to the pub to get bounties and they were marked on your map, that was a great way to include extra bonuses.
I think like everybody else I want to try the dual wield at least for a while, not really sure about the anima and placid heart being done away with, I actually liked that part, it was easy enough, I don’t really know wether it’s going to be better using MP instead of AC, as it is you need a ton of MP in some battles especially if your looking after a party.
Anybody know somebody that knows somebody that can order level 5 to release international WKC 2 next week? 🙁 🙁 didn’t think so

Well – I quit playing WKC a little while back… however I wanted to start playing again only to find out that my little sister decided to save over my data. So I said.. ‘No problem, I can just do it again..’ Well, or so I thought.. the WKC server is EMPTY. There is one town up and everyone is running II/III variations of the missions. Guess I’m not going to be able to replace my data. Perhaps since the server is dead they could implement a patch so that the difficulty of the quest/missions were easier. That or you can take your party from the game into them instead… I can’t solo a lot of missions being a low gr mage.

I know what your saying about the place being empty but I think what has happened is once many reached the higher guild ranks and couldn’t find people to quest with they started opening up rooms in groups, there are quite a few rooms now that regularly have players in including my own town.
If you join our forum we set it up mainly to help lower guild rank players and to get more WKC players together in one place to go into WKC 2 with. I just recently added a GR 2 player to my friends list to help him out so you welcome to join us because your right, most quests can’t be done alone, especially in the early stages. Drop by the forum and see what you think, we all help each other there and it’s mainly WKC players.
