The Guildmasters

Hi all,
I’ve just been notified of the latest update from Sony, although they are not online as yet it doesn’t look like it will be too long now.

They have been testing all week and you can now sign in to install the latest update which is required for when they do go live again, you can download and install this latest update now via the PS 3

As well as this latest news I also read that the attackers/hackers used Amazon ‘cloud’ to launch their attack from, this was not from Amazon themselves I must say, the hackers just used Amazon.

Hopefully we will be able to play again very soon. Also in the news was that many PS3 owners are trading in their systems for Xbox 360’s, 200% more trade-ins than normal in fact, it’s a shame.

Well we all love it when someone likes to talk because that’s how we find out stuff.

Apparently WKC 2 is being released in Japan next month and with it comes some more confirmations about the game.

First of all the second installment of the White Knight Chronicles will come with the first version also, this is in case some people skipped the first one then wouldn’t want to play the second one, now you can have both, at least in the Japanese version.

Although this sounds like a good idea the first version will be updated to be as good as the second version, this means there will be tweaks and added extra’s.

You will be able to play the second one carrying on from the first one but you may miss out on some extra quests and gear if you don’t play the first version that comes with WKC 2, I’m not really sure if I could play WKC 1 again up to GR 15 just to get access to a few extra quests, it would have to be more than that and even then i’m not sure I would do it.

Another thing it seems it will introduce an ‘ark’ which is like your own knight which will be able to be used online but will be limited, also you will be able to customize your ‘arc’ which will be pretty cool, sounds like you will have to visit a particular place in order to customize the ‘arc’.

One other thing is that they have introduced the possibility of using up to six players per quest instead of the usual four which again sounds cool and also gives an indication that the quests are going to get that much harder meaning we will probably have to work together more efficiently to produce completed quests instead of failed quests, sounds good.

Remember nothing is set in stone and this is only for the Japanese version so there could be more changes by the time WKC 2 hits the international market.

Here’s hoping it won’t take too long to be released to the rest of us, i’m guessing it could be as early as Christmas, that would be nice.
