I’m working on an experiment by running 100 quests to see what rare items these new NPC’s are giving and what the % rate is, since getting these new expensive NPC residents i’ve picked up some items that players online are saying cannot be got from Geo towns.
Well a couple of days ago I did get an Aged Dragon Skull and today I got an Aged Dragon Heart, both from the new level 10 residents, not the free ones, the residents that you have to give a 150K coin to.
I’ve also got a Knave face + and Red Ore+ as well as many fire,earth,wind and ice dragon items +.
I will be posting the findings on my blog as well as in my log at WKC. If anyone running from my town comes across what you would consider to be a rare item from one of the residents i’d appreciate it if you let me know so I can keep a track of what is giving and how often.
I’m also thinking the items given may be quest based since I got the Aged Dragon Heart after running KOD 2 and the Red Ore + after running the Big Red quest (I believe the golems can give red ore+), could just be a coincidence which is why i’m running the 100 quests to get a better picture.

Would appreciate that, i’ve run 6 quests out of the hundred and it’s looking like the items given by NPC’s is directly related to the quests I do, if I run a quest with multiple enemies I get more stuff too, if I run Home of the Knave I get knave parts given to me. Of course it’s too early to tell for sure so your input will either confirm this for me or it won’t, thanks.

Thanks for listing those George. I came across a topic on a forum and people were arguing that it is impossible to get such items from NPC’s so i’m glad you posted those items there. Not many believe I got an aged dragon skull and heart but they are there, still rare but I believe the chance increases when you run KOD quests.

hi tony i think i will disagree with your point on that the quest’s and the NPC’s drop rate are connected you will see my little list and judge it.
when i first arrive to your town i talked to all NPC’s and got this,

next went to boot camp 1 did an S rank came back and got,

after that went to big red 1 S rank and got,

then boot camp 2 got B rank,
Colin…. khave panel

i only went to boot camp 1&2 and big red 1

Yes that’s my theory out the window, they are pretty good items for the level quests your doing and yes I am surprised no + stuff came out, maybe that has something to do with Guild Rank or Level, will have to check that. Sorry haven’t managed to get to play yet, had to write some articles and the research took me longer than expected so i’m not going to get the chance to quest until later, will also carry on with my experiment once I get this work finished. Good luck

That what i think too, that the GR have somthing to do with the item’s that NPC’s give
According to what george(by the way hi george) hi is GR 10 and he got this drope,
Ice dragon heart+
Ice dragon skale+
Blue ore+
and you too tony you got some item+ your self ,
but me im GR and did 14 quest’s and didnt get any item+!! get it.
PS: im always looking forword to help in your research’s if you have any thing you need my help in just say the word .

some one told me that HP power up water/ice magic big HP big water damage, is that true?
and if its true is there any other status that boost another magic and can i use it the other way around like boost water magic and get more HP ?
I hate time zone diffrence’s it’s like you’r just going to start questing and i have to go to sleep and the other way around when i start you’r fast a sleep lol
I’ve got to admit i’ve not heard of that before, all you can do is try that one, I can get my HP to around 1200 but i’ve not noticed any difference in my elemental attacks when I drop that HP to say 1000 so i’m doubting if that is the case. I don’t see how HP can be related to anything elemental, I could be wrong of course but it just don’t make sense to me. I’ll double check next time i’m doing an elemental quest and let you know for sure as I can pull my HP down to 500 if need be to try it out.
Yes the time frame is a shame, at least most days we can get a few quests in though, i’ll try tomorrow. Goodnight:)
