I’ve decided to put a few of the best new releases here, when I say best i’m talking about the top RPG’s which have been released just this month or last.
The follow up posts to this will be November releases followed by December releases, so let’s get started.
I’m really listing all the ones which are on my christmas list and as you know a game has to be pretty great for me to want to purchase.
First up is Borderlands, i’ve seen a demo and trailer, it looks pretty cool and the storyline seems like it good end up being a good game, I can’t help thinking of Fallout 3 when I see clips and screenshots of this game, it looks nothing like Fallout 3 but it just gives me that feeling that it could be a game like that, I could also be disappointed, i’m glad I rent my games before I buy.
Here is the storyline for Borderlands:
Journey to the harsh frontier planet Pandora where you will be greeted by an array of native creatures bent on stopping your mission. In search of a mysterious alien vault, you are destined to comb the vast environment, fighting your way through bandits and discovering aggressive creatures. Released on the 20th of October this game is priced at $59.99 on the PS3 and XBox360 and $49.99 on the PC. The last one on my list is the best of the best, wherever you look even the critics are giving this game awesome reviews, yes Uncharted 2, I can’t even get to rent this one yet it’s so popular. You’ve probably seen the commercial on tv but if not there is a guy who plays Uncharted 2 and he’s complaining because his girlfriend thinks its a movie, that almost sums it up, the graphics from what i’ve seen so far are unbelievable, everyone who is reviewing it says it plays like a movie, it’s got a great storyline, the graphics will blow you away and i’ve never seen a game with so many 10 or 9.5 ratings, here is the storyline:
Caught up once before in the treacherous world of thieves and mercenary treasure-seekers, fortune hunter Nathan Drake vowed it would never happen again. But when Drake finds himself running a bit low on luck, the lure of that world proves too tantalizing to resist.
