Hi all,

Yes, I loved this game, the story mode was great, the graphics pretty good and it was a fair challenge getting all the trophies, great game, really enjoyed it. I also started playing Bioshock Infinite which is going to be much harder to get the platinum, good game though, disappointed as I’ve said before about no multi-player but the story is pretty good, plenty of stuff to do that keeps it interesting, it’s definitely got the Bioshock feel about it, another great game so far.

I have completed the story once (on easy) and now I’m on my second playthrough. I did make a video of my first 10 minutes and was going to do more but by the time I uploaded my first 10-minute video there were 100 other videos online of the whole game 🙁 The good part was that the video was a test run really to see how well it comes out and I was impressed, I’m looking forward to making more videos, just need to find a different angle so I don’t duplicate the 100’s of other players out there making videos.

All in all, it’s been a good week, looking forward to playing some more soon, happy gaming.

Tony 🙂

Hi all,

Yes, I’ve been playing the new Sniper game, looks like I may just platinum this one, two very hard trophies (at least for me anyway) are one online where you have to melee kill someone, use a sidearm to kill someone and snipe someone all in the same game, got all other online trophies. The other trophy I got to get is playing the story on expert which I’m doing now and have completed the first act, there are three all together so am hopeful about getting the platinum for this one.

Only two days left until I get my Bioshock Infinite download and I’m really looking forward to that, shame there is no multiplayer as I enjoyed the multiplayer on Bioshock 2, oh well, hope the story mode makes up for the loss of online play.

I did get my recording setup working, but it’s a long process at the moment, the quality of the video isn’t great but, it’s pretty good, definitely good enough to do some walkthroughs, chapters, etc… I’m actually looking forward to making some decent videos for YouTube of my gameplay, I haven’t been put off yet, even though my first video took 3hrs to put together 3 minutes of video, lol. I guess it’s a learning process before I get it right.

All eyes ready for 7th May for The Last of Us, that’s the next major game I really want to own, would love to do the video walkthrough for that one, looks amazing. Well, that’s all from me today, happy gaming.

Hi all,

Yep,  I’ve decided to play the original Bioshock again as it came as bonus content with my pre-order of Bioshock Infinite. Played through on easy and it was too easy, but it was good to be reminded of the different areas before tackling survivor mode. Not doing too bad and I’m surprised that I’m having more problems with the splicers than big daddy’s, lol.

Should be finished sometime over the next few days and playing on survival mode should get me about half a dozen trophies pop at once, that will be fun. Once this is complete I will go back to Bioshock Infinite and try and platinum that one, all good fun, enjoying gaming at the moment.

Hi all,

I know, I know, Skyrim is old now, but I did manage to get a copy of the Legendary Edition a couple of months back and at $20 it was a great buy. Many of you have already played and probably completed it, but this is one of those games I won’t get bored of playing, I love it.

Unfortunately, I haven’t had much chance to play it lately, but it’s one of those games I’ll keep hold of, great story, fantastic gameplay, and a ton of stuff to do makes this one of the best games I own.

Talking of keeping hold of certain games, I have around five or six that I would probably never get rid of, games like Skyrim, Borderlands 1 and 2, Godfather 2, Bioshock (all of them) and Dishonored. I would love to add Thief 4 to that little collection.

What games are you keeping hold of and why, which games will you always go back to when you are bored? Let me know ok, next time I will be talking about some new releases due out over the next couple of months.

Hi all,

I finally got the platinum for Sleeping Dogs, a great fun game, took me a couple of days longer than expected due to me missing two random events which the only way to find them was to drive constantly around town until they showed up, I got em though, lol.

I’ve now decided to go back to an old favorite, White Knight Chronicles.  This may sound crazy, but I’m going to try and solo platinum this one as the servers are going offline in two weeks, I have got the platinum for this one on another account and I actually played the game for about two years when it first came out.  Since creating this other account it gives me a chance to play it again, it’s one of my favorite games.

I’m already about halfway through the storyline, although the platinum is probably going to take me around 1,000 hours as I’m soloing. This is not one of those games that I will play constantly though, it’s a great game for taking a break from all the others and I will play it off and on while playing other games. Already have 3 trophies, but the rest will take forever, lol.  It has been a very underrated game and it was a shame that more people didn’t get into it. The few that did really did get into it and some of the players were, like myself and continued playing for well over a year or two, even after getting the platinum.

This was mostly due to the way the online was laid out, it was very fun to meet up in each other’s rooms, many just met up there to just chat and have a laugh, some ran quests, some helped each other out getting materials for upgrading, it was a really fun place. This time around, for me, will be different as I’m going solo and it won’t be the same, I really enjoyed playing with many friends on there.

Will update as I go along, my trophies also register on Facebook as I get them, that is if the account is still active all this time,  so anyone can see what I’m playing at any given time. Happy gaming.

Tony 🙂
