Hi all,

Not too bad, took me four full play through’s to get the platinum, yes, it should have only taken me two, but I enjoyed it so much I didn’t care too much, I harvested one too many little sisters so had to go through a fourth time, had a great time with it (again) and got me another platinum trophy, that’s 5 now, almost level 9.

Got Hitman: Absolution on its way so will be playing that one soon, also started playing Resident Evil 6 and am quite surprised at how much fun it is, trophy hunting in a big way at the moment and enjoying myself at the same time, can’t be bad. Won’t be getting any more games after Hitman due to I really really really want to play The Last of Us so am hoping to finish all my games by 7th May so I can take my time on that one, maybe even make some more videos.

That’s all for now, hope you all are having fun with whatever games you are playing, happy gaming.

Tony 🙂

Hi all,

Sorry for not posting in a while, but I do get carried away once I get to playing a game I’m really enjoying it. The latest on my list is Far Cry 3, I really didn’t expect to get hooked so easily on this game but it’s absolutely great. I’m loving it, there is tons of stuff to do and the storyline is pretty cool too.

I’ve also got Tomb Raider which is coming tomorrow or the next day, which should also be cool, and I also took advantage of the PSN offer of spending $50 and get $10 back, so I pre-ordered Bioshock Infinite which I will now be able to download one minute after midnight on the 26th of this month, how cool is that? Which, means it only actually cost me $49.99 instead of $59.99, awesome.

There are some pretty awesome games coming out this year, also there is Sniper 2 Ghost Warrior, I enjoyed the first one so this one should be pretty cool, then you have The Last of Us later this year, which is certainly going to be another game of the year game, just hope I can get that one the day it releases, we’ll have to wait and see.

I’m still in the process of trying to get a recording system setup, but I’m short of a couple of cables, once I have those in place I should be able to start doing the video walkthrough’s again, so looking forward to that.

Well, that’s about it for now, happy gaming.

Tony 🙂

Hi all,

Yes, I loved this game, the story mode was great, the graphics pretty good and it was a fair challenge getting all the trophies, great game, really enjoyed it. I also started playing Bioshock Infinite which is going to be much harder to get the platinum, good game though, disappointed as I’ve said before about no multi-player but the story is pretty good, plenty of stuff to do that keeps it interesting, it’s definitely got the Bioshock feel about it, another great game so far.

I have completed the story once (on easy) and now I’m on my second playthrough. I did make a video of my first 10 minutes and was going to do more but by the time I uploaded my first 10-minute video there were 100 other videos online of the whole game 🙁 The good part was that the video was a test run really to see how well it comes out and I was impressed, I’m looking forward to making more videos, just need to find a different angle so I don’t duplicate the 100’s of other players out there making videos.

All in all, it’s been a good week, looking forward to playing some more soon, happy gaming.

Tony 🙂

Hi all,

Yep,  I’ve decided to play the original Bioshock again as it came as bonus content with my pre-order of Bioshock Infinite. Played through on easy and it was too easy, but it was good to be reminded of the different areas before tackling survivor mode. Not doing too bad and I’m surprised that I’m having more problems with the splicers than big daddy’s, lol.

Should be finished sometime over the next few days and playing on survival mode should get me about half a dozen trophies pop at once, that will be fun. Once this is complete I will go back to Bioshock Infinite and try and platinum that one, all good fun, enjoying gaming at the moment.

Hi all,

Sorry haven’t been around much but since Christmas and the New Year is behind us i’ve acquired a few new games to play. Although new to me they are fairly old but i’ve been looking forward to playing these for quite a while. First up is Thief, which I have wanted since it first came out last year, well I now have it so i’m really looking forward to playing this one.

Second game is Splinter Cell Blacklist, again not that new but hasn’t been out too long and i’m looking forward to playing that. Apparently it has split screen so you can play with a friend or family member, that will be cool and it is also online so really looking forward to that. Other games I have recently got is Rage, which I played a little of and seems pretty cool and Red Dead Redemption, this one i’m sure will be totally cool and unique. I have always wanted to play a western and this one looks like one of the better ones out there.

Hoping to create a few videos this year too and upload them to youtube. If I can get hold of a decent camera will be making other videos too but i’m definitely going to make some gameplay videos so keep your eye out for those, will post here once I get going on that.

At the moment i’m trying to platinum Bioshock Infinite and have only got a few trophies left to get, have completed 1999 mode but had to play through it again as the trophy didn’t pop for not using any dollar bill machines so hopefully that will pop this time around, I am on the final battle again. Other than those I will have to fly through it again one more time (probably on easy) to collect the last 3 or 4 trophies. I know I have to get the one where you kill five enemies while drunk, and also have to kill so many enemies from a sky-line and that’s about it.

Hope your all having fun playing your new games, let me know what you got for Christmas and feel free to add me as a friend if you play any of the online games that I have, take care 🙂

Another highly anticipated game of the new year is Bioshock 2, for those who remember the first Bioshock it was an amazing game, great story excellent gameplay and graphics, it was a delight to play, engrossing and addictive, so can the second Bioshock match up to it’s predecessor?

Ok if you really enjoyed the first Bioshock let me tell you this, don’t bother reading reviews of people that have played the demo, don’t play the demo, just buy the game, you won’t be let down I promise you that.

Because of researching new games of 2010 I have actually seen the trailer, demo’s being played and reviews by people who have had sneek previews and demo’s and it’s almost impossible for someone to write something about this new instalment without giving plenty of spoilers.

It’s going to be a great game, yes better than the first, here is the game description and yes you can pre-order it from amazon as usual, Bioshock 2 is on xbox360 and PS3

Game Description:

Ten years after the original descent to Rapture, BioShock 2 takes you back to the underwater city as a Big Daddy. Rapture has a terrifying new ruler who’s grown from a forgotten Little Sister into the city’s most powerful being. Fight through dark city hallways as a Big Daddy, an armor-suited protector of the Little Sisters. You’ll have the option to harvest their genetic modifications or keep them safe. Experience a haunting new storyline with flashback missions, new weapons and plasmids, new multiplayer modes, and more. This time, you’ll be able to use weapons and plasmids simultaneously, and even create plasmid combinations.

That’s as much info as i’m willing to post on this game, there is tons more but it’s not for those who are going to get this game anyway.

The Bioshock 2 Special Edition is priced at a high $90 but you get an art book, posters, audio recording and more, or you can go for the regular price of $54.98

Tony
Actual contents for the special edition Bioshock 2 for the PC includes:
* BioShock 2 for PC
* Vinyl 180g LP with BioShock orchestral score
* Audio CD with BioShock 2 orchestral score
* Three vintage Rapture advertisement posters (rolled)
* BioShock 2 Art Book, 164 pages and hardcover
