I thought i’d give a few tips when adding friends online while playing on your PS3. I’ve noticed that I have been getting quite a few friend requests, probably from this site, that have not paid much attention to my profile. When thinking of adding or sending a friend request there is one thing you should really consider before sending that request.

First thing you should do is to check the persons profile, this will show you what trophies they have and what games they have or are playing, this is fairly important due to the fact that your friends list is limited. To get the most from this feature you really want to add players that are playing the same type of games as you. I’ve been getting friend requests from people who do not have one game that is even similar to what i’m playing, eg: I checked one player who sent me a friend request and all he was playing was war games, this would be pointless for me to add him as I do not play any type of war games, just RPG’s or action/adventure type games, by adding this person I would have added a friend who I would never have played and at the same time taken up a spot for a friend who was more compatible with me.

I really don’t mind adding new players to my friends list but we should at least have two or three games in common, so be sure to check players profile before sending requests. Another thing to remember once you’ve been accepted as a friend, please don’t send multiple requests for game invites, send an invite, if you get no reply or the person don’t join you it’s probably because they don’t want to play that game or they are in the middle of playing something else. I have had more than 20 game invites within a few minutes, needless to say I deleted that person, I don’t need my message box cluttered up with tons of game invites, it’s unnecessary. If I get a game invite, if I can join you then I will, if I can’t then I won’t, as soon as I get the chance I will reply to your message and let you know why, send me more than 4 game invites before I can either join you or reply to you will get you deleted. Sorry but if your going to plague me with game invites what are you going to be like when I join you?

One last point, please don’t bother sending me those stupid messages that say Sony will give you $50 if you send this to so many other players, it’s just a bogus message started by some prankster, if you get one of these, and I think most of us get them, just delete them and block the person sending them. Apart from these few points mentioned I wish you all a great game day and hopefully we can join each other and have some fun, good luck.

I’ve added Burnout Paradise to my active games, yes I know this is not my genre at all but it is a fun game, it gives a pleasant break when you get frustrated with Crushing mode, lol. What’s cool about it is that my whole family also can own the game so we can play each other online or just have some fun wrecking cars, or you can drive sensibly, lots to do on this one and with all the download content I bought with it a couple of years ago, there is over 90 trophies, most easy which is also fun.

I’ve also upgraded my gamefly account to 3 at a time and have ordered Assassins Creed 3, yeah I know, it’s about time. I should have had this game the day of its release, but it didn’t happen, at least I will get to play it soon. I’ve also finished Uncharted: Among Thieves on hard mode so just have 1 and 2 to complete on crushing, and get the treasures. Should have these two platinumed in a few days (i hope).

I’m also going to attempt to get Bioshock Infinite the same day it releases so that I can be one of the first to make some videos of it, but that’s not until March, not too far away and I should be able to work it out so I do in fact get this one same day it releases.

Well my first full day playing Uncharted:Drakes Fortune got me 60% of my trophies, completed the game on Hard Mode, which has now unlocked Crushing Mode for me. Today I’ve been playing Uncharted: Among thieves, part way through story mode, then I switched over to mulitplayer, going to give myself a couple of weeks to platinum these two before moving on to something else.

I don’t enjoy multiplayer on among thieves so much as Uncharted: Drakes Deception, I got to beta test that one and I thought it was pretty awesome so i’m looking forward to getting that after completion of these first two games.

Because of everyone in the house getting new ps3 systems for christmas we all got the same bundle so we each own a copy of Among Thieves so we can help each other get the online trophies when our friends are not playing. That’s about it for today so have fun out there and have a happy new year everyone:)

Hi all,

I’ve decided to start with Uncharted: Drakes Fortune as my first game on my new account, i’ve also started playing Uncharted: Among Thieves because this one is online. The reason i’m playing these two games first is because they came as part of a bundle with my new system and I intend to get the third installment of Uncharted soon too.

Other games I hope to be playing soon is Assassins Creed III and also Bioshock Infinite when that comes out, so will be always playing at least one game online, and for those of you who have asked me what my new online ID is, it is RPG_Reviewer.

Hope to platinum these two games within the next week or so, then i’ll probably replay Dishonored as my offline choice of game with hopefully AC 3 as my online game, look forward to playing many of you soon.

Hi all,

Christmas was busy on and offline so haven’t had the chance to post much here. That’s all going to change from now due to the fact that I got myself a new 250gig PS3, and not only that, my boys each got one too, so no more sharing my system, very nice:)

This means i’ll not only be getting more game time, but also that i’ll be able to start making the gaming videos again (yes I used to do that once). So since I now have a brand new system with almost 200gigs more than my previous system, I’ve decided to create a completely new online ID, yep, starting all over from scratch and dedicating this new system to playing strictly the best games, mostly RPG’s of course, with some action/adventure ones too.

On top of that I am looking for about 50 new friends, and it will be fairly hard to be accepted by me as i’m really going to be looking for players who spend a decent amount of time online playing but also, and more importantly, players who tend to play the same genre as me. So basically to be accepted by me as a friend, at least on this account, you need to really enjoy playing games like Skyrim, AC3, Dishonored, Uncharted etc..really what I call the top of the range RPG’s and Action/Adventure type games.

I will be going back into reviewing every game I play, and since I have acquired the Dazzle, thanks to christmas presents, I will now be putting videos up on my youtube site, this will be a few weeks from now as I have to purchase some extra cables and scarts and stuff. Also please don’t send me a friend request unless your willing to be in my videos as I will be recording a lot of my online multiplayer gametime.

Later in the new year i’ll also be setting up my gaming forum and i’ll review that at a later date and explain more about that. So for now I would like to wish everyone a happy new year and good luck gaming.

Hi all,

Hit guild rank 22 about an hour ago, well pleased with that, now Vell 2 has opened up for me and thanks to Strand and Abu I got to run it one time, and even upgraded my GR 22 bow and some of my armor. Well on my way to better things.

While I was running Vell 2 I even managed to pick up two pieces of GR 22 armor, one being the Platinum Gauntlets, can’t remember what the other armor was but it was foot gear. Now it’s about 3 million points to GR 23 so that will take a little while but i’ve bought all the GR 22 quests, there are about 5 of them so got plenty of new quests to run for a while.

Vell 2 also gave around 150K which was nice so it probably won’t take too long to hit the next guild rank, i’d say about a week depending on how much I get on and how many quests I can run. I still want to finish up the errands although the one that will cause me problems is the waterspider egg, that’s almost as rare as the Flemron 108 but I may get lucky.

Looking forward to Monday and hopefully spend the day running a lot of different quests, may even start a room of my own for GR 22 quests only and go for it in a big way, will update monday night.

Hit guild rank 21 yesterday morning and that felt pretty good, also got Vell opened up now because I finished story the day before so running everything that I want to run, next will be looking forward to GR 22 so more will open up.

The guild rank i’m really heading towards is 23 as that is when I can put even better gear on, i’ve also acquired a couple of GR 23 weapons which i’m looking forward to using. I did manage to pick up a rare shortsword from Vell 1, because it was one of the unidentified weapons it was fully upgraded once I had it appraised in the shop and it has an attack of around 200 but also has over 200 magic, after asking around it is for those rare sword mages but it may come in handy for me while i’m a shortsword user, will test it out later.

Still trying to upgrade my gear i’m wearing at the moment to +10, got one piece to +8 and the rest is around +5 or 6, but it’s a good set and i’ll probably keep it until I hit GR 23

Great, I hit level 80 earlier today and now my damage output is better than when I was GR 22 before I lost my save data, and i’m only GR 20. Got all the archer gear (level 3) apart from the boots and the AGI has made a big difference, I hardly get hit at all now, which is a big bonus.

Also using a couple of level 80 shortswords which has an attack of nearly 200, very nice. I am very tempted to rebirth as I don’t like shortsword but I will wait a while, maybe when i’m around GR 24 or 25 i’ll get the rebirths out the way. As i’ve said before, I want my end build as spear/bow and it’s very tempting to go for it now but it takes so long to get back to level 80 which is why i’m holding off.

Ran a few quests with the guild members tonight and it was good fun, Root of Evil and Jungle Jailbreak meant I got quite few nice items and managed to upgrade some of my gear to around +5 and i’m so pleased with my damage output now my enthusiasm for the game has returned and i’m really looking into the stats side of things for the different weapons.

There are so many different armors in this game it’s really hard to pick just one set, even a mix matched set, I think by the time i’m GR 30 i’ll be changing gear every quest, lol. Looking forward to experimenting a lot from this point on. Will update again over the weekend.

I actually just hit guild rank 20 a few minutes ago, this now means I can level up to 80 (max) and use some of my best gear. I never did get around to finishing story so I will be doing that next so that Vell opens up for me, which is a good quest to get extra gear from.

I don’t usually run the same quest over and over but I really wanted to get to GR 20 so I joined a Demithor In Peril room this morning and ran DIP2 about 8 times which is all I needed. I should be able to get the binding shop to rank 20 today too which is as high as it will go, this means all, or at least nearly all, binding items will be available to me.

Ok well now i’m off again to play some more, may update again tonight, if not tomorrow. Anyone else on here playing WKC 2? Let me know.

Hi all,

After hitting GR 19 yesterday morning I spent the rest of the day questing for materials to get some better gear, also got my level to 73, hopefully tonight i’ll be able to hit level 75 so I can equip some good weapons.

At the moment i’m a short sword user with bow as back up although I haven’t been using the bow as yet, i’m going to switch to bow as main when I hit level 75 as I have a level 75 bow which should be pretty cool.

I think this time around when I hit level 80 and GR 20 then i’ll get my 4 rebirths out the way, this will take a couple of days but I want to get to my main last build which will be bow and spear, using spear as tank and bow as damage/agility/tank if I can set it all up the way I want it.

I’m really missing GR 22 which is where I was before my corrupt save file hit me but hopefully will be back to where I was in a couple of weeks.

Last night was a lot of fun, I ran quite a few Free Monster Quests (FMQ) with some higher ranked players and hit the Chaotic zones, got tons of high priced materials and even some very rare items (worth over 3K each), this will be great when I get the binding shop to level 20 as i’ll be able to make some awesome level 80 weapons and armor.

Ok that’s about it for now, looking forward to playing for a few hours tonight, also when I get back to level 80 and GR 22 i’m thinking of making a few videos of some of the quests to upload to youtube and link them here, should be fun and also will show noobs how some of the quests are run.
