Well here we are again with the final 9 GR 12 armor sets:
12. Drakkhen Set
Drakkhen Armor (armor) DEF 74 with added Wind attribute of +5 also resists Paralysis Drakkhen Fists (arm gear) DEF 64 with added Fire attribute of +5 resists Poison Drakkhen Faulds (leg gear) DEF 68 with added Wind attribute of +5 resists Paralysis and the Drakkhen Sabatons (foot gear) DEF 66 with added Wind attribute of +5 and resists Paralysis. Awesome starting DEF and I haven’t managed to get any of this armor yet but I want it just to see what +10 stats are.
13. Sentinel Set
Sentinel Mail (armor) DEF 67 with added Fire attribute of +5 resists Poison/Sleep Sentinel Fists (arm gear) DEF 58 with added Water attribute of +5 resists Poison/Sleep Sentinel Trousers (leg gear) DEF 54 with added Wind attribute of +5 resists Paralysis/Silence and the Sentinel Boots (foot gear) DEF 58 with added Earth attribute of +5 resists Paralysis/Silence.
I don’t have the Sentinel Armor but I have the rest, the Fists are at +9 and the stats are DEF 67 Water attribute +5 MP +16 VIT 26 AGI 21 which will all double when at +10 My Sentinel Trousers are at +9 and those stats are DEF 63 Water attribute +5 HP 70 MP 14 INT 27 and my Sentinel Boots are at +8 and those stats are DEF 66 Earth attribute +5 HP 70 STR 27 DEX 22 again those stats will double at +10 so not a bad set.
14. Valkyrie Set
This set is for the females only and it’s a good set. Valkyrie Mail (armor) DEF 67 with added Fire attribute of +5 resists Silence Valkyrie Guards (arm gear) DEF 58 with Wind attribute added of +5 resists Paralysis Valkyrie Skirt (leg gear) DEF 54 with Water attribute added of +5 resists Paralysis and lastly Valkyrie Leggings (foot gear) DEF 58 with Earth attribute added of +5 resists Poison

Hi tony,
I have a question some armor make the player go slower right? and if it dose how do i know witch one.
Because i’am a short sword user i didnt know that armor dose that {i was fast} when i re-incarnated i max the white magic and the 2H sword skill’s suddenly i was shocked how slow i become after using the long sword so i took all my armor out and did a test with some kibble’s (little devils) in boot camp 2 i was very fast like i hade haste on me, but i ended up dieing god know’s how much i hate the little %^£££%^£ !!
So it comes to this how do i know witch armor will make me slow and witch will not ?

This is a difficult one because from being without armor at all everything will slow you down, obviously the heaviest armor will slow you the most which is why I always recommend having Haste, to me that is the most important thing to cast before any battle.
Cloth armor sets are probably the lightest but then have not much defense so you end up dying a lot or taking serious damage. I wear the heaviest sets of armor because of the STR and defense they give, yes I do sacrifice some speed because of it but you rarely see me die in a quest, its a balancing act really and it all depends on what your set up for.
My guess is with shortsword it’s all about close combat so your going to want to stay with heavy armor for the defense but get used to using the Haste spell, it really helps overall and you do get used to the slower speed, by the time you get to GR 12 you won’t even notice the speed difference.
When I rebirthed I thought something was wrong the wheel was going round so fast, I thought it was stuck on Haste.
I will check some info later on Shortsword users stats and let you know what I come up with, sorry I can’t be of much help right now as I don’t know too much about which armors are light, medium or heavy but i’ll check it out and write another post tomorrow on my findings.

P.S. Just found this table that may help with your shortsword setup, nothing about armor yet but i’ll get there, seems AGI and STR play an important part of SS which makes sense.
Weapon Table
Ok from apart from the obvious ones like Cloth (being light) the difference to tell if an armor is heavy or medium is by the DEF the more DEF the heavier the armor or at least that’s what i’ve found out so far. If I find any more info I’ll post it here.
Ok third time back here, I found this posted in a forum and its not everything but its a start, as it turns out the way the armor sets are listed in the binding shop are actually in order (I think) starting at light working through medium ending with heavy. Here is an example I found :
Questor’s Coat (no GR, 30+, light) Cloth
Ruler’s Coat (no GR, 30+, light) Cloth
Windwalker Coat (GR7, 39+, light) Cloth
Castleguard Plate (Level 30+, medium)
Breaker Mail (GR7, 38+, medium)
Earth Mail (GR8, 43+, medium)
Lamellar Armor (Level 25+, heavy)
Heavy Armor (GR9, 48+, heavy)
Ok I hope you pop back and read this lot, lol. Anyhow I found a great hometown that has a bunch of logs for Shortsword, weapon stats and combos etc…more info than I could possible give you here, the only trouble is finding the town.
It’s run by username Kokoro spelt exactly like that, now you cant search for a user on WKC but if you go to the message board there is a post there by Kokoro, it was on the front page when I was there which is how I found him, it’s got about 109 replies so won’t be that hard to find, go to his town and look at his logs, hit your triangle button to bring up side menu and add his town to your faves, some excellent info in the logs even if you never visit his town. No word on the release of WKC 2 yet, there was a rumor going around that it was going to be a summer release but summer is nearly over so that could be next summer. My own personal opinion is it would be a mistake not to release it in time for Christmas, it’s not like they can’t do that, it’s already been out in Japan for a few weeks and it shouldn’t take them too long to make the necessary adjustments for international version. The other reason is by getting it out for Christmas the sales would more than double any other time of the year so it makes more sense to do that but like I say that’s my own personal opinion, just have to wait and see but as soon as they announce something it will be here.
I don’t think you posted this too long ago so I may be able to catch you but it won’t be for about 2hrs from now. Hope I do manage to catch you as it should be fun running some quests together, i’m at level 46 right now so haven’t go my gear, can’t wait to get back to 50

yah i just posted this i’ll be in your home town after 30 to 45 min
I obviously missed you again, I did pop in my town for about an hour and a half and kept popping back every 20 minutes or so after that, even checked out Saberlily town but couldn’t see you there, sorry I missed you, we will catch up i’m sure, as soon as we do we’ll run a few quests and help each other out.
