Hi all,
Yes after my mishap and getting a corrupt save data I was a little annoyed (actually pretty crazy) but i’ve settled down, counted my losses and started again. Haven’t done too badly this time around.
Skipped the cut scenes so i’m about half way through story mode again, done about 1/3 of errands and made it up to GR 12, not bad for a day and a half. So what next? Well if my guild hasn’t booted me then i’ll finish story and hopefully get to around GR 20 and go back to join them again.
I wasn’t about to expect my guild friends to carry me from GR 1, I know they would have but at the end of the day you should be able to get to around GR 20 without help, from then on you need the help.
So hopefully by this weekend I will be able to join my friends again and get some decent online play going again. Will also be looking at some more new releases next week and working some more on the forum.
Tony 🙂
Hi all,
Yes I just got up from my chair to go for a tea and trod on the cable which then unplugged my PS3 system, when I did get to restart and restore system my two save files were corrupted. Tried to restart to see if it would correct itself but still both files were corrupted.
This is a real shame as I was really getting into the game, just made a bunch of really cool friends within the guild I was joined to and now this. It wouldn’t be so bad but i’ve spent quite a few weeks finishing story and getting to GR 22 and it’s all gone.
I don’t know if any of you have had this happen before but it happened to me once on WKC 1 and it took me 6 months before I would play the game again, this time it feels worse than back then. I did start a new game to get to a save point so I could get back online to inform my guild why I won’t be playing for quite a while, i’m just not ready to start over, not yet anyway. I’m angry and sad at the same time but these things happen and we have to grin and bear it or you just go crazy.
I will probably get back to it one day but at this moment I just want to throw it in the garbage. Anyway I just wanted those who visit here to know why i’m not going to be on WKC 2 for a while, if ever again.
I think at least for a while i’m going to concentrate on running the blog and getting the forum up and running so hopefully we can all chat on here and you guys can give me updates on how you are all doing. Thanks again for everyone’s help during my game time on WKC 2. I really appreciated that.

Assassins Creed III |
ByThis game is really going to blow your mind, just like Skyrim did with never before seen graphics and animation, this one has gone even further.
The Ubisoft Anvil Next engine has taken the game to the next level. Everything in this latest installment is bigger and better than ever. More realistic than you could ever imagine a game to be.
The story is set around the 1770’s and the american revolution, you play as Connor, whose mother is American and English father and you are fighting to save your homeland.
This world is massive, going from cities, to woodland and battlefields to oceans. A huge game with an awesome storyline, many new weapons, including more guns. There are also tomahawks, rope darts, knives and more.
Even the weather system is magic and extremely realistic compared to many previous games. The battles are much more detailed and realistic and you can either fight face to face or use your stealth to take enemies out either by surprise or from a distance.
It’s actually quite impossible to describe a game like this to someone who hasn’t seen it, you just have to, at the very least, watch some gameplay or trailer to get where this is coming from. The minute you see the detail, combat, graphics, weather and massive environments your going to just want this game so bad.
On top of all this the new multi-player promises to be the best yet, with new characters, maps and modes to give us even more time enjoying what is an epic game.
To put it simple, every so often a ridiculously realistic game comes out that you want the minute you see it, it just draws you in like a really good movie. Well, this one is one of those, you would have to be deaf, dumb and blind not to want this game.
Assassins Creed 3 releases October 30th but you can pre-order now from Amazon:
Get this one, I will be.

Those New to WKC 2 |
ByHi all,
Just wanted to bring a couple of things to your attention if your just starting to play White Knight Chronicles 2.
First of all, when it comes to rebirthing, which enables you to gain extra points to put into your skill trees, try and hold off until around GR 22 as it is a long process to get back to level 80 otherwise.
I just did my first rebirth at GR 21 and it took me around 4 days to get back to level 80, admittedly my time is limited so that wasn’t four straight days but still, it took a while.
I have been told by various guild members that it is much quicker if you wait until your GR 22 or higher. Having said that, if you do decide to rebirth before hand, I found the quickest way is to go to bunker load caverns Free Monster Quest and enter Chaotic Rift, go alone and let your two other characters die, this way you will get around 1200EXP per lizard/sprog kill which is pretty good.
Another thing to wait for is your geotown, it is easy to want to create a town early on but it doesn’t really do you any favors, it costs a ton of money to upgrade and a lot of time and effort to get any decent harvest points. I recommend you wait and quest from those towns which have 60/60/60 stats to maximize your harvest after each quest.
Also try and keep at least 25-50 of each items you get, every item in the game has a use and if your going for all trophies you’ll need even the smaller items for binding etc..
Later in the game, from around GR20+ you will get items that are worth lots of money so it is easier to get a ton of money after GR 20, some items sell for as high as $5,000 or more.
Lastly make use of your guild, every day log in and visit your guild town to get 3 tokens, even if you don’t have time to play get your tokens as they help you and the guild progress and get better items.
Ok that’s about it for now on the game i’m playing, if your looking for help just look for me under username Assassin or find the guild “In God We Trust”.
I’ve been reviewing the new Assassins Creed and will post my review later tomorrow, believe me, it’s worth the wait.
Tony 🙂
For those who haven’t yet got the game and are thinking of buying it now would be the time, it’s a great game with so many hours playtime it was worth the price when it was new, but now you can get it for as little as $10 at amazon.
Hi all,
Yes you read it right, a 500 Gig PS3 system. It will be available in either Black or White color. Apparently it is 25% smaller and a whopping 20% lighter than the current PS3 model.
Also the 250 Gig model will be out as a bundle in United States on 25th September for about $270 which will include Uncharted 3 and a $30 digital download voucher for Dust 514. However this probably won’t be your best bet as on 30th October United States can get their hands on the 500 Gig model bundled with Assassins Creed 3, no price has been given for that bundle as yet.
I don’t have a date yet for Europe release but it will be before U.S and they won’t be getting the 250 Gig, only the 500 Gig, which in my opinion is the one to go for anyway.
Eventually everything is going to get bigger so if there is a choice to have either 250 or 500gig you may as well go with the larger one.
There will be comments how this one looks less appealing than previous models, and maybe even cheaper looking but at the end of the day with that much space added, you won’t suddenly find yourself having to delete previous games to make room, at least not as much.
My concern is why make this now when the next gen has been announced and will probably hit the market in a year or so, either Sony is having some financial troubles (which i doubt) or there are going to be some insane games due out that takes up a ton of space, this is fairly likely due to the realistic games that are being made with constantly evolving engines giving extremely realistic graphics, story lines and extremely fast loading times.
Another point to mention is why come out with a 250 Gig version when we already have a 320 Gig version (as seen below) for less than $300.
Well, let me know your comments on this and I will try and get hold of the two screenshots that Sony released.

Hi all,
There has been a game that I have been waiting for, and I mean like, forever. That game is Thief 4, it promised to be a very awesome game, as was the previous Thief.
The reason i’m disappointed is that I just found out that it will probably never be released on the PS3, it has been earmarked for next gen consoles only, which is a real shame.
I know they have had some major problems with the development side of things but it seemed like they had got a good team together and really started working around the clock on this one. Everything I read was positive, everything was on track etc…
This probably means that I won’t get to play this game for at least another two years, maybe longer, I hope not. They can really do a lot with this one.
On a totally different issue, as you all know i’ve been playing WKC 2 and I keep getting the subject come up about a WKC 3. This is quite possible as if you finish story mode in WKC 2, and continue watching after the credits there is a cut scene which says “to be continued”.
There are many rumors suggesting that a 3rd installment would not become available in Europe or America. Personally I don’t see that, although Japan has a following with the White Knight Chronicles, it’s not a huge following like other Japanese games.
Once the game has been made, which is the hardest part, then it’s only a matter of translation ( and a few other things )to make it worldwide, and the Japanese aren’t ones to miss out on a golden opportunity when it comes to money.
The same was said about WKC 2 and we all have it, this is because from a marketing point it makes sense to do that. It also makes sense to start rumors that Europe and America won’t be getting it because it has the opposite effect. When something may not be available people start wanting to know more about it.
Anyway that’s my personal view, i’m sure there are arguments for and against most things but eventually we all have to wait and see, it’s not the end of the world if we don’t see a third installment but it would be very nice if there will be one.
I’ll be talking about some games coming out in 2013 soon as well as those ones which will be available for christmas.

Apology. |
ByHi all,
Long time no talk, yes it’s been a while and I apologize for that. This has been due to circumstances beyond my control.
I actually lost my whole site for the last few months, there was no backup available and we had to work back and forth with our hosting to get our work back up and running, it’s taken a very long time but we are indeed back.
Hopefully this set back will never happen again and I have been using the time wisely. I’ve been reviewing all the latest games, and we do have some really epic games hitting the shelves over the coming weeks and months.
I have also been working on a great idea that I will be talking about over the next week or so, it will be a new site, actually a forum, but an exclusive one. Like I said I will be talking more on that later in the week to get some feedback.
So, games we have coming out soon that just about everyone will be buying or renting, Call Of Duty: Black Ops II, nothing else needs to be said does it? You know everyone will be getting this one.
Assassins Creed 3, wow, this one is going to be awesome, even for those who are not fans of AC series, and who are they, everyone loves these rpg’s but this one will blow you away, seriously.
Borderlands 2, yeah another great one to look forward to, actually you don’t have to look forward to it as it’s just been released, how cool is that?
Ok well this post was really just to aplogize for my long absence so I will chat more about new releases and upcoming games soon, and also about our new venture which I think most gamers will love.
Take care and for those wanting to know, yes I am playing WKC 2 at the moment. I’ve joined the guild “In God We Trust” and it’s awesome, very good help on there, with events, i’m still wondering why more people aren’t playing this one, it’s a really cool RPG and with up to 16 people in a room and up to 6 players questing at once it’s a very nice game.

Gaming BanterHi all,
After playing lots of Skyrim I thought i’d post a couple of things that some of you may not know about.
The first thing is having up to 4 enchantments on a piece of equipment. If you get the enchantment skill tree up to level 100 everyone knows you can choose the perk to have two enchantments on a weapon or piece of equipment.
If you break down a piece of equipment or weapon that has two enchantments on it already this counts as one enchantment, let me explain. Finding a weapon that has say burning soul trap means this has two enchantments, it burns the target as well as soul traps the target, breaking down this weapon allows you to use that enchantment, which is actually two in one, so you can actually put four enchantments on a weapon, like I have, it really helps depending on the enchantment.
Another thing many will know about is the dragon priests, what some will not know is how many there are, actually there are 9 in all. You may even know this but there are only 8 you can retrieve from dragon priests during quests or finding shouts.
What many may not know is what to do with them, yes many have decent perks on them but once you have 8 of them, you can then take the 8 to Labrynthian where you can find the mask which sends you back in time to the shrine which holds all 8 masks, place the 8 masks in their correct slots to receive the 9th and final mask.
This final mask has some really good bonuses with it, and you can also take back the 8 masks from the slots too, awesome. This last mask is called Konahrik and bonuses include unlimited shouts for a short time, healing you when health is low although not guaranteed, fire cloak and a chance to knock back enemies when health is low.
If anyone needs any help on locations of anything in the game just send me a mail or ask here and i’ll be happy to help.

Gaming BanterHi all,
Thought i’d post a couple of games here that i’m going to try out over the next few weeks, one is the new FFVIII-2, i’ve played a bit of the demo and it reminded me a lot of when I used to play FF 7 and 8, it is on my rent list now.
Another game which looks awesome but I won’t know until I really get some gameplay on it, is Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. Supposedly it is a very large open world RPG and I think it’s either going to be one of those games you either love or hate so i’ve put that on my rent list too.
A few decent games will soon be released over the next two months, like Bioshock Infinite, definite buy, and Resident Evil: operation raccoon city looks like a possible buy.
Once i’ve platinumed Skyrim i’ll be playing quite a few different games as I want some online play now, i’m actually missing playing others online, i’ve really not had any real online play time since WKC and I miss that enjoyment we all had back then.

Gaming BanterHi all,
Since the forum closed I wanted to set something up where gamers could still get answers. I have set up a facebook account and I call it coffee break facebook.
I don’t except friends there so we don’t get a bunch of crap and useless posts, how it works is you post a gaming question to rpganswers@theguildmasters.com and I post the answer as soon as I can on the facebook page.
This way those who are out at work or travelling can still get answers to their questions using their mobile devices.
Although it is mainly for RPG fans, you can submit questions on other types of games and i’ll research the answer if I don’t know it and give a response.
Hope you all enjoy this new feature.
Tony 🙂
