The Guildmasters

Hi all,

Yes got myself to GR 17 last night, taking a lot longer than I wanted to but moving up a guild rank once a day isn’t too bad. Done a few quests that were way out of my league but thanks to the guys who ran them with me I didn’t die and got a ton of materials that were worth a fair bit.

This meant that I could donate more items to the frog and get that rank up to 16, which in turn means more items for me to bind in the shop. Now i’m running round with a level 65 weapon instead of a level 45 weapon, makes all the difference.

Looking forward to the event this weekend at the guild as it’s for helping members get their GR up, which is exactly what i’m looking to do.

I’m working on taking some video of some of the quests so that will be fun, I started to do that on WKC 1 but at that time is was a lengthy process and I gave up, think I actually got one video on you tube, hopefully this time i’ll be able to get more up there.

Hi all,

Just wanted to bring a couple of things to your attention if your just starting to play White Knight Chronicles 2.

First of all, when it comes to rebirthing, which enables you to gain extra points to put into your skill trees, try and hold off until around GR 22 as it is a long process to get back to level 80 otherwise.

I just did my first rebirth at GR 21 and it took me around 4 days to get back to level 80, admittedly my time is limited so that wasn’t four straight days but still, it took a while.

I have been told by various guild members that it is much quicker if you wait until your GR 22 or higher. Having said that, if you do decide to rebirth before hand, I found the quickest way is to go to bunker load caverns Free Monster Quest and enter Chaotic Rift, go alone and let your two other characters die, this way you will get around 1200EXP per lizard/sprog kill which is pretty good.

Another thing to wait for is your geotown, it is easy to want to create a town early on but it doesn’t really do you any favors, it costs a ton of money to upgrade and a lot of time and effort to get any decent harvest points. I recommend you wait and quest from those towns which have 60/60/60 stats to maximize your harvest after each quest.

Also try and keep at least 25-50 of each items you get, every item in the game has a use and if your going for all trophies you’ll need even the smaller items for binding etc..

Later in the game, from around GR20+ you will get items that are worth lots of money so it is easier to get a ton of money after GR 20, some items sell for as high as $5,000 or more.

Lastly make use of your guild, every day log in and visit your guild town to get 3 tokens, even if you don’t have time to play get your tokens as they help you and the guild progress and get better items.

For those who haven’t yet got the game and are thinking of buying it now would be the time, it’s a great game with so many hours playtime it was worth the price when it was new, but now you can get it for as little as $10 at amazon.

Yes I managed to complete the story in Assassins Creed: Brotherhood. Don’t get to annoyed yet, believe me there is a ton of stuff to do in this game.

Sure I completed it in less than 3 days but I still have tons more quests to do and I still have more assassins to recruit and upgrade, then there are the missions to send them on etc..

Also got to get 101 flags, then the feathers and treasures so there are plenty of play hours in this game, it’s awesome, then if you manage to do all that and don’t want to play it through again there is always mulitplayer online so I would say yes this game is well worth the buy.

Will be on WKC sunday as I didn’t make it today, was busy trying to fix stuff at home, hope to catch some of you then, good luck.

And yes I will help you out, i’m referring to the person who doesn’t want me to give their info out, pop over to the forum and join up there or add my PSN ID so you can see when i’m on.

Hi all,
Well I haven’t managed to get on wkc much this week but I have run a few quests from the map when i’ve had half an hour spare here and there, did catch up with Ko Ko in one quest and BO about a week ago in another quest.

Today I managed to find Cuffy and run a few quests with him, unfortunately when I came back from lunch we thought we was in luck as a third person came in and we ran Plain Trouble, only after rescuing the 4th NPC I got booted and I mean seriously booted, my whole cable setup was down for 4hrs so I would like to take this opportunity to say sorry to Cuffy, wasn’t my fault mate.

Hope you managed to finish the quest, I will get to eventually run that quest with you, promise. It’s probably the best quest to pick up your waterspider + parts too, that’s the one I always ran whenever I needed waterspider + stuff, it’s a good quest but you do need 3 players on it due to the time limit of rescuing the NPC’s and sometimes the enemies aren’t too generous at dropping the livers needed for the NPC’s.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

I managed to get on for a couple of hours today and saw BO and cuffy and Death in a room but there was also another room started by Johnny, a GR 3 player (who is now GR 4) and a GR 2 player so I opted to pop in and help them out.

Ran a few quests including some big red and then I decided to run a GR 4 quest, yes that Greede Underbelly quest the exterminator, for the life of me I have never been able to finish that damn quest, I get lost, pull handles the wrong way, drop down holes that i’m not supposed to, so we aborted that quest. Man how I hate those quests down there.

Want to thank Death for popping in to help me out as he took a GR 10 player while I stayed with Johnny, and he also took over while I disappeared for a bit, thanks Death.

Want to run some GR 11 quests tomorrow if I get the chance but it can get a bit awkward sometimes when you have several different GR levels and they all want help, will try my best to get to others as the week goes on.

Yes thought i’d get on the game for an hour or so, checked my town and met up with Face again to run some Greaver Hunt 2. Wasn’t getting the items Face wanted so we decided to try In Search Of Swallowtails and go for the swallowtail glitch, BO came in to join us for the two times we ran it and it turns out the glitch has been fixed so you have to kill the end boss (2 toxic greavers) now.

This is still a great quest to run and it gives the rarer items easier than Greaver Hunt 2 so this is not a big deal, the only downside was we thought we had more time so in future we will run this quest correctly and make sure we allow enough time for the end boss.

It was good fun running with friends again and great to be able to run a couple with BO again, thanks for stopping by mate, hope to catch more of you tomorrow.

Well I had a couple of hours spare tonight and there was no one on, and I mean no one. There was one post on the message board asking for help to get an oil stained cloth so I said I would run HOTK, she got it first go then I spent the rest of the hour searching for someone, gets pretty lonely on there sometimes:(

I have managed to get a few mats myself but it’s not much fun on your own, I even popped over to saberlily to see if anyone was running anything there but that was less than half full which is really unusual, the ones that had players in already had 4 or 8 so will try again another night.

I cannot seem to get the two troll king crowns that I need or the fire beast tail+, that is a ridiculously hard drop to be sure. I did manage to get the wind dragon heart+ which I was after, broke his tail the first time and didn’t give it so I ran away, got some harvest points and AC back up, went back to him and viola, dropped heart+ very nice.

I’ve been trying to translate some stuff from Japanese to english but most of it is what we already know so no new info on WKC 2 yet.

Don’t forget to join the forum if your a WKC fan, we are still looking for more players to go into WKC 2 with when it does eventually arrive.

Oh well, off to bed I guess, hope to see some of you tomorrow or later during the week.

Hi all,
Last night was the first night I didn’t get on the WKC so sorry for those who were expecting me and needed some help, should be on tonight. After Platinum and spending most of the day on the forum I just needed an early night.

Forum is coming along nicely, like to take the opportunity to welcome two more new members, both WKC players.

Welcome aboard wildcuffy and a big welcome to BO, we’ve played together on WKC quite a bit but it’s been sporadic, i’ll run a few quests with BO then we won’t meet up for a few weeks then we’ll find each other and run some more, I hope to get together for a few more quests soon BO welcome to the forum.

For those of you just stopping by the blog the forum is eventually going to be the place to be, the blog will be used just as a daily update on what is going on at the forum, a link to the forum is in the right hand column at the top on the blog.

Been adding more info on WKC 2 and WKC for newcomers with some vid links to check out if you want to, pop on over and check it out, see what you think, haven’t been started long and already over 100 posts have been made and 5 members joined all from WKC.

It’s been a bit awkward trying to get to everyone that needs help, i’m not avoiding anyone so please don’t think that, i’m either online when your not or i’m helping someone else at a particular time, if you see me online just send me a message and i’ll try and get to you, i’m not going anywhere for a while so if you can be patient I will help everyone I can.

It’s always a good idea to hang around my town if you want help as that’s where I always start out.

Yep I eventually did it, just hit 10 million Guilder and savored the moment as the trophy popped up, thought it had messed up for a minute as it seemed to take a while for it to register but I got it, very pleased with that.

Now all I got is two more trophies to get, I think one is a certain amount of weapons and the other I know is the 450 item bind one. I wish there was a way of telling how many items you have already binded but it doesn’t so I will just have to keep on binding until it registers.

My guess is that before I hit the 450 items binded the other trophy will show up, I think it is for 300 or 400 weapons as it is showing a trophy after the 200 weapon one, I don’t know for sure though. Is there even that many weapons in the game? That probably would include shields although i’m not sure. I’ll check online for the other trophy later.

It looks like now i’ll be running a lot of low GR quests to bind those lower items I missed, there are loads of them so it shouldn’t be too difficult, just time consuming. I don’t think anything will be as time consuming as getting that 10 mill though.

Well thought I would let you all know how I did today which was quite an accomplishment seeing as I was out most of the day and this morning I was busy doing other stuff, so a great end to the day.
